GENERAL FAQs

What is the required age for participation in the camps?

The camp is best suited to riders ages 12-18 both male and female who are capable of being well behaved in an environment away from home.

What ability level do you have to be to attend?

Our camps are best suited to snowboarders who are already at an intermediate level both in the terrain park and while freeriding. We expect you to be able to perform basic tricks on both rails and jumps.

What kind of weather can you expect at the camps?

Conditions at our camps may range from cold & powdery winter days to warm & sunny spring days so pack accordingly!

What gear should I pack?

It is important that riders pack both outerwear and layering that is suitable for cold and dry conditions. There may also be warm, sunny days where riding in a t-shirt/hoodie is possible but remember not to overpack! All campers will be supplied with a packing list that we recommend following. Please also be mindful to check the baggage limit of the airline you are flying in order to avoid any extra costs!

What will be our accommodation for the camps?

Our lodging will either be a full sized house or large apartment based on camp location. All accommodation will have comfortable bedrooms, full sized kitchens and big living spaces for chilling out/stretching in at the end of a long day riding.

How long will we be spending on snow each day?

Time spent on snow each day will be dependnt on the weather and snow conditions. When its sunny and the snow is good, campers can expect to get up to 8 hours of riding! When bad weather puts a stop to snowboarding we'll have a bunch of training exercises and other fun activities organised for the day.

What should we pack each day for the mountain?

We recommend bringing a light and comfortable backpack up on the hill each day to store items such as your lunch, spare clothes and goggles, headphones and any medication you may need on the mountain. This saves the hassle of taking a trip back to the accommodation and you can focus on the most important thing; snowboarding!

How long will it take to get to the mountain each day?

We try to base our accommodation as close as possible to the main lifts at each resort. Travel time to the mountain is dependent on the camp you are attending.
